Monica Fennell, J.D.

Pro Bono Counsel & Director at Taft Law

Monica Fennell is Pro Bono Counsel & Director at Taft Law. In this role, she develops and manages opportunities for attorneys to volunteer to provide legal services to disadvantaged and underserved persons. She previously served as executive director of the Indiana Pro Bono Commission and as a U.S. Supreme Court Fellow, assigned to the Administrative Office of the U. S. Courts. Monica was the past recipient of the Indiana Bar Foundation Randall T. Shepard Pro Bono Award, the Indiana Lawyer Leadership in Law Distinguished Barrister Award, and was presented by Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. with the Justice Thomas Clark Award for Excellence in Service as Supreme Court Fellow. She graduated cum laude from Williams College and earned her J.D. from Georgetown University. She in engaged in a number of volunteer activities within the state of Indiana and joined the Board of Social Promise in 2019.
