Today Social Promise provides funding to Lacor Hospital in northern Uganda.
Lacor Hospital is one of the largest nonprofit hospitals in Uganda and a major healthcare provider in northern Uganda. From its main hospital in Gulu and three satellite health centers within the community, Lacor provides comprehensive care to patients from across the region.
Lacor is also an important center for medical education and training. Through its Health Training Institute, partnership with Gulu University’s medical school, and internship programs, Lacor trains students and newly graduated healthcare professionals who will go on to work throughout Uganda.
